We're not a PEO (Professional Employer Organization, or employee leasing firm) - we're much more. PEO's are one kind of Payment Processing Firm; we're similar but different and also unique in many ways.
PEO's just handle payroll and benefits, and a bunch of personnel issues that not every company needs; and they're just not economical for smaller companies. PEO's are too one-size-fits-all and won't help you manage your contractors - they'll just try to get them to become employees, which will drive the best ones away. We can handle your contractors for you, in a way that respects their experience and status as contractors, and makes things easier and safer for you.
What about tax-deductible expense reimbursements, like travel expenses and per diems, mileage to client sites, or anything you don't provide that your people spend money on to help them do a better job for you? PEO's don't handle these either. Your contractors can deduct these but it's a hassle for them so they often don't, and there are limits on what you can do for your contractors without getting into trouble. Your company also probably doesn't want to set up complicated reimbursement plans which not everyone will use; most employees just want more money and don't care about saving taxes (until April 15). But there are limits on how differently you can treat your employees, so you may not have as much flexibility as you'd like to provide the best possible mix of taxable compensation and tax-free benefits to those of your employees (like executives) who realize their value. As a result, your company, employees, and contractors are throwing away tax deductions that could be better spent growing your business and supporting your families.
We take care of all these needs and more - much more flexibly than a PEO can.
