Our Articles of Merger effective September 2, 2003 completed the filing requirements for the new improved structure of our conglomerate. All of our corporations are now LLC's for easier administration (but nothing was changed from the IRS point of view). In addition, we divested the remains of what was in effect a hostile takeover attempt made in 2001. Now we are stronger and lighter as a result.
Including our incorporation of RMP Cooperative Enterprises LLC as a Delaware Series LLC, this restructuring allows us to respond to a wider variety of opportunities more quickly and cost-effectively, and helps us diversify and grow our lines of service.
